Changing your screen resolution

New Mexico Teacher To Teachers is designed to be read at a screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher. It can be read at a lower resolution, such as 800x600, but you’ll have to scroll left to right in addition to scrolling down.

If you want to change your screen resolution to 1024x768 or higher, follow these instructions:

Using Windows

• Right-click anywhere on the desktop.
• In the pop-up menu, select “Properties.”
• In the box that opens, select the “Settings” tab.
• Use the slider in the bottom left corner to set your resolution.
• Click “OK.”

Using Mac OS X

• Open the “System Preferences” box
• Open the “Displays” panel and select the “Displays” tab.
• Select your desired resolution from the list on the left.
• Close the box when done.

Using Mac OS 9 and earlier

• From the Apple Menu, select “Control Panels,” then “Monitors.”
• On the dialogue box that opens, select the “Monitor” panel.
• Select your desired resolution from the list on the right.
• Close the box when done.
